Community Health & Wellness team from Nationwide Children's Hospital played Eureka Games in the zenergy room at sparkspace. Learning targets included: 

• My super powers are important to this team
• I know how to communicate with Animals (types)
• Followership is a characteristic of leadership

Team Building event with Syrus

The team from Syrus Restaurant Information Systems invited Eureka Games to lead team building activities at their off-site, which was held at Golf Club of Dublin.

Ice Breaker and Energizers with Nationwide's User Experience Workshop - Day 2

We started the morning with an Energizer called 'This or That?' 

Everyone starts out on a magic school bus (between the ropes) and then we stopped at various imaginary towns and villages. As we visited these magical lands, each person had to choose which direction they wanted to go.

We started the morning with an Energizer that we call Tinker Toy Topics. Everyone grabbed a few sticks and then the topics were revealed. People formed groups of three and began making connections as they introduced themselves.

45-minute session focused on Team Effectiveness.

As we prepared to play Blind Polygon the players were split into three groups: 

• Able to See and Touch the rope, yet unable to Speak
• Able to Speak and Touch the rope, yet unable to See
• Able to Speak and See, yet unable to Touch the rope

A group of project managers from Nationwide Children's Hospital invited Eureka Games to play. It turns out they are all Super Heroes. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun.

In preparation for an entire day of presentation and discussion Eureka Games was invited to BREAK THE ICE and ENERGIZE thirty participants.

Team Effectiveness Event with Mountview Christian Preschool Staff

The staff played Eureka Games at the Spring 2014 in-service.

We realized that we all had super powers after the Super Hero Name Game.

YP Presidents' Council Meeting - February 2014

The Young Professional Presidents' Council meeting invited the Eureka Games to play a game that challenged players to be active and to think outside the box.

Team Building with Sales and Marketing from Elmer's Inc.

The Field Sales Team and Marketing Team of Elmer's Inc. came together for a off-site meeting at Sparkspace. The Eureka Games was invited to facilitate an experience to kick-off the week with energizers and activities that challenged them to rethink the way they think.

Team Building Event with The Columbus Jewish Federation - Young Adult Advisory Board

The Young Adult Division of the Columbus Jewish Federation has several committees that serve the community (social, spiritual, outreach, etc). This event was the first meeting of the new Advisory Board, which brought the Chair from each committee. We ate dinner and played games and team building activities that helped them rethink their leadership style - with some laughs along the way.

Team Building Event with STAND UP: Leadership Team • Delaware County

Through a connection with a close friend, I met the event planners for Stand Up.



Stand Up is a annual event hosted through a combined effort of several organizations and by the effort of countless volunteers. Eureka Games was asked to energize the students after lunch with a team building activity for thirty people.

The students made the games their own and had a lot of fun. We ended the session with a group debrief. The student advisor was so amazed how during the debrief discussion, the students offered up so many comments and insights that it was easy to label this session a success.

The Nationwide Web Usability Team had an offsite meeting at Sparkspace, and they got caught in a Spider Web.

Team Building Event with International Friends

A good friend of mine was hosting the Thanksgiving dinner feast for the Ohio State chapter of International Friends, inc.



When I explained my new found passion and how I was looking for opportunities to practice, he invited me and my family to join and bring a Eureka Game, too.

That was my first time building the web for anyone outside of my basement. Setup and teardown time proved to be a little longer, and bulkier than anticipated. 

Overall the Spider Web was a hit. Shout out goes to Richard and his family for letting me rearrange your living and room - you rock.
